We group of college friends visited this outlet on a Sunday afternoon. Since we reached early there wasn’t much people at the place but gradually it was all full. They have large seating space on both the floors, we wanted to grab the table with lake view but the same was already booked.

It is (restaurant) like big house with seating in rooms and balcony. Restaurant interior was cool with dim lighting and with various seating option of sofa and bench. Bar was also available on the ground floor.

They have their menu in form of a newspaper with large variety of dishes, we ordered Poutine (BBQ Chicken), Fully loaded nachos with iced tea (strawberry) & lemonade and in desert we had chocolate blood bath.

Poutine (BBQ Chicken): Poutine is a Canadian dish consisting of french fries and cheese curds topped with a brown gravy. Since we ordered poutine with BBQ Chicken topping so the dish had french fries with topping of BBQ Chicken and cheese. It was tasty and could be tried at the restaurant.

Fully loaded nachos: Nachos topped with cheese and spices tasted good.

Iced tea (Strawberry): It was served in small bath tub type bowl and was okay in taste.

Chocolate Blood Bath: It is made by mixing chocolate cake, chocolate brownie, chocolate truffle, chocolate ice cream, chocolate mousse & goey chocolate fudge. The mixture of so many dishes was indeed tasty and treat for chocolate lovers.

The place is very popular among youngsters and we can see the same crowd at the place. It definitely deserves a visit due to the ambiance, food and its quirky presentation of drinks, bill.

 

One more Saturday and a restaurant. The All American Diner restaurant is located inside huge building (ground floor) of India Habitat Centre (IHC) in Delhi. It is a small cosy place with a drink table & sofa-table seating arrangement. Interior of the place have retro American look and feel.

Since it was a Saturday so we had to wait for 30-45 minutes for table and while waiting for the same we placed our order which included Long Island Iced Tea, High Volt Thunder, Sunrise Skillet & Non-Veg Sampler.

Sunrise Skillet: It consisted of two scrambled eggs, three slices of crisp bacon, two grilled chicken sausages, two pan cake topped with cheddar cheese and a slice of bread. I liked bacon as it was crisp and tasty, also the sausages were good in taste. Pan cake was soft but didn’t had much flavors so I found it simple, same goes with scrambled egg which only had salt in it. All in all it was a nice spread with  variety.

Non-Veg Sampler: This consisted of chicken wings, chicken strips, golden fried prawns with cheese dip and a sauce (chutni). I really liked this platter as although it had chicken/ non-veg as base but it varied in taste. Chicken wings was hot and sour, chicken strips was crunchy as it had bread coating outside and prawns were fried. The cheese dip was yum and went well with the dishes in platter and sauce (chutni) tasted okay (a bit sweet).

This is a nice place to hang out with mostly young crowd around. Also to savor American cuisine this is the place to be.

The restaurant is located in Noida sector 18 near KFC and I visited it on a Saturday for late lunch at around 3 pm. Restaurant is on 2nd & 3rd floor (third floor also have a bar) with jungle ambiance inside, even the outer part of the restaurant have animals like elephant, cheetah and bear engraved on it.

The place have a cave design entry with a chimpanzee placed just in front of the entry.

I really liked the ambiance as the place was dim lit with sound of bird chirping, it was really soothing. Also it had nice interiors with huge aquarium on both the floors and artistic cravings.

All over artificial grass and plants made it really beautiful, it’s a nice cosy restaurant in busy area of sector 18 Noida.

We ordered Kung pao chicken, Junglee mass, naan, steamed rice along with mocktails (Chimpanzee & Lion) for our lunch.

Kung pao chicken is a spicy, stir fried Chinese dish made with chicken, peanuts, vegetables and chilli peppers. However the Indian version of this had light gravy with grated peanuts on it. The dish had gravy similar to Manchurian gravy and tasted slightly different due to peanuts.

Junglee maas was a mutton dish with thick gravy and was spicy in taste.

Cimpanzee was made by blending mango juice and fresh cream with mint leaf and vanilla ice cream. The drink was thick and tasted okay.

Lion was a light drink made by mixing strawberry crush in lime juice and was served frozen. Drink went well with the lunch as the lunch was heavy.

Overall I found food to be okay and ambiance to be superb, so the place definitely deserves a visit. Also since its located in sector 18 (Noida) it could easily be reached.

Theos is one of the famous bakery in Noida and apart from bakery the place also have a small restaurant with a huge variety in their menu. I went to sector 42 outlet of Theos (other outlet is in sector 50).

Once you enter you can see a variety of bakery items on display and just at the right hand side of the room is another room for restaurant. They have a small restaurant with nice interiors.

After going through their thick menu book, we ordered Peri peri chicken oliette, Chicken lasagna and Jamaican chocolate frappe.

To start with Jamaican Chocolate Frappe, this is a must for chocolate lover, it is a thick chocolate drink.

Order something light with this drink as we were three people but were not able to eat lasagna after frappe and peri-peri.

Peri peri chicken oliette was nicely cooked with a blend of light flavors and was served with cheese sauce.

Chicken Lasagna again is a must at Theos. The dish was cooked deliciously.

Theos, definitely is a place where i would love to go again and again to try different dishes from their menu.
